Cosmetic Teeth Whitening

Certain factors that can contribute to discoloration include:

  • Tetracycline (antibiotic) staining
  • Excessive fluoride
  • Trauma (injury) to the teeth
  • Pulp degeneration
  • Restorative materials
  • Genetic and acquired illness
  • Aging
  • Consumption of staining substances (coffee, tea, tobacco)

Are you a good candidate?

Determining whether you are a good candidate for teeth whitening is based upon the cause of our discolored teeth. A careful examination and X-rays will determine if the strength and condition of your teeth are fit for whitening.

What is the process?

Whitening is accomplished in the comfort of your own home. You will start with an appointment with the doctor to ensure that your teeth and gums are healthy, then impressions will be taken. Custom trays will be made specifically for you and can be picked up after a few days. You will then be trained on how to properly use them.

Although this is not a permanent treatment, annual touch-ups of only a few days at a time can maintain the original whitened result. Contact us today to find out more!
